I received my Bachelors in Communicative Science Disorders and my Masters in Speech-Language Pathology from  Wichita State University in Wichita Kansas and have worked in the field of Speech Therapy for over 15 years. I have worked in pediatric school-based settings, community-based preschool settings, and several hospital settings that were named Level 1 trauma centers and most complex neuro hospitals in the world.

EXPERTISE & CERTIFICATIONS

I work primarily with people who have had Strokes, Parkinson’s Disease, Dementia and other neurological issues. I specialize in treating cognitive impairment, communication difficulty and dysphagia. I am MBSIMP certified, which stands for The Modified Barium Swallow Impairment Profile. This provides a standardized protocol to interpret and communicate swallowing impairment. I am also certified in MDTP, which is the McNeil Dysphagia Therapy Protocol, helping patients that have difficulty swallowing due to conditions such as nervous system and brain disorders, muscle disorders, or physical blockages in the throat. I love working with my patients and helping them regain quality of life.
